Nightrider London- 100km by bike, at night, for brain tumour support
Nightrider London 2016 is a one day charity ride with a difference...it’s at night. You can take on this special challenge again this year, whilst raising vital funds for brain tumour support in the area.
Why Nightrider London?
While the capital sleeps, over 4000 people will each ride 100km, and £2 million will be raised in 1 night for hundreds of good causes, including our very own support for people with a brain tumour. You'll cycle past more than 50 sights of London in this unique charity bike ride at night on a route is fully sign-posted (but not closed to traffic). There are hills in the capital, but not that many so Nightrider is a great way to get into bike challenges.
And, what's more, the funds you raise will help us support more people to feel less afraid, less alone and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
John's Nightrider Story
John McNally took part in Nightrider last year, to raise money for brainstrust so that other families could recieve the support he and his wife did when faced with a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
By cycling with team brainstrust, you too could help us support more people like John and Jo to get back on their feet. Your commitment would fund a number of our brain boxes, the toolkit we send out to those diagnosed with a brain tumour:
“Received the brain box yesterday- I cried with happiness. It’s just what we needed – the booklets, information, tea and even hand cream. You have restored our faith in human nature. Thank you” - Carer
All we ask is that you raise a minimum sponsorship sum of £175. We'll send you a fundraising pack and a team brainstrust running shirt to wear on the day.
