A brain tumour diagnosis is terrifying, isolating and confusing. We know. But, when you get together with others who truly understand what you’re going through, incredible things can happen.
Held at Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel, this event is about building resilience, sharing experiences, and helping you become stronger on your brain tumour journey. You’ll have a safe space to talk and be heard, benefit from improved wellbeing, and learn some effective strategies to help cope with the challenges ahead.
Whether you're living with a brain tumour or you are supporting a loved one, there'll be something for everyone.
Join us for a day of talks and workshops: Michael Jenkinson and Andrew Brodbelt, consultant neurosurgeons from The Walton Centre, plus colleagues, will speak about latest developments in neurosurgery, clinical trials, and treatments. They will also hold a Q&A panel session.
In the afternoon, boost your wellbeing with a relaxing yoga session, learn techniques to improve resilience with a coaching workshop, and hear from other local charities and organisations. There will be opportunities to connect with others in the local community and share experiences with people who truly understand.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Please do let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you register.
Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel is easily accessible and has disabled access. The closest Merseyrail station is Moorfields, approximately 5 minutes' walk. Liverpool Central station is about 14 minutes' walk.
