This is a free short break service for all unpaid carers in Dorset who look after a friend or relative with an illness or disability who cannot be left alone. The team here organise a care assistant to stay with the person being cared for, so the carer can enjoy peace of mind while taking a break. The minimum break is for an hour and occasionally overnight sessions are possible.
