  Join team brainstrust at the 2011 London Triathlon! A great opportunity to swim, cycle and run for a great cause and at one of the most well organised events in the UK.
  
  
  

  Register for the 2011 Virgin Active London Triathlon

  
  Taking part in this event with team brainstrust is easy. All we ask is that you complete the form linked below, and email it back to tessa@brainstrust.org.uk. Please be mindful that we ask all our London Triathlon participants to pledge to raise at least £500 and pay a registration fee of £40. Don't panic if you've never raised sponsorship before, we'll help you every step of the way and share tips, ideas and the expertise of your fellow fundraisers.

  Virgin Active London Triathlon entry categories

  
  

  There really is a category for everyone. And with the Virgin Active London Triathlon being so well organised this is a great way to enter the world of triathlon, or to set a new personal best in your favourite triathlon distance. Here are the entry categories:
  

  
  

  Virgin Active London Triathlon - Saturday 30th July

  
  Super Sprint: 400m Swim / 10km Bike / 2.5km Run - Everybody competes in an open age single sex group
  
  Youth Super-Sprint: 400m Swim / 10km Bike / 2.5km Run - Open to 15/16 year olds.
  
  Sprint: 750m Swim / 20km Bike / 5km Run - Everybody competes in an open age single sex group
  
  Sprint Team-Relay: 750m Swim / 20km Bike / 5km Run - Mixed or single gender teams compete together. Each team member completes one leg.
  
  Olympic Team-Relay: 1500m Swim / 40km Bike / 10km Run - Mixed or single gender teams compete together. Each team member completes one leg.

   

  Virgin Active London Triathlon - Sunday 31st July

  
  Olympic Age-Group: 1500m Swim / 40km Bike / 10km Run - This is the Olympic distance group that we recommend most people enter. You will be racing against people of the same gender and similar age.

  
  
  

  The 2011 Virgin Active London Triathlon and fundraising for brainstrust

  Registered? Then now it's time to start fundraising. The first job is to set up a page with JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving. You can do this by clicking on one of the following buttons, and following the instructions:
  
  

  
  As soon as you've registered, we'll send you a free fundraising pack, in here you'll find all sorts of useful things to help you raise money, as well as a fab new team brainstrust running shirt. Remember, every penny you raise will help us to continue to support people who are affected by brain cancer. Your money will help keep our phone line open, it will help us run more Meet Up groups, and we will also be able to send more brain boxes to more people.
