Summer Ball at Highclere Castle
This magical evening is set in the beautiful and romantic surroundings of Highclere Castle, home of Lord and Lady Carnarvon. We’ll begin with a champagne reception and canapés, during which you will be able to enjoy tours of the new ’Wonderful Things’ Egyptology Exhibition, which tells the story of the discovery of the Tomb of Tutankhamen.
And there will also be time to view the silent auction of original 20th Century works of art to include works by Matisse, Picasso, Chagall and Miro. All of this will be accompanied by ’SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL’ music from the famous Legends of Motown. This will set your heels on fire so that you can work up an appetite.

Fine dining by Highclere Castle’s Mossiman trained chef will then be served in the opulent Library, after which John Cameron (from BBC Cash in the Attic) will host our Auction. Dance into the night at this most spectacular evening of the year.

Seating & Special dietary requirements
We know that you will want to sit with your friends and family and we’ll do our best to sort this out for you. If you are buying two or more tickets then we’ll assume you want to sit together. If this is not the case, then please let us know – this will help us plan for a successful evening. And if we don’t succeed with the seating plan you’ll make some new friends and still have a great time! Also, please do drop us a line if you have any special dietary requirements.

No refunds for cancellation will be made after 21 days prior to the event.
Please note: In the unlikely event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond brainstrust’s control, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket(s). It is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue. We will not be liable for refunds if an event is cancelled after half the event has taken place, due to factors beyond brainstrust’s control. brainstrust reserves the right to alter the advertised programme.
