All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £117.50 to cover the cost of your place. It's easier than you think, and we'll help you all the way. We'll send you tips for starting your training and easy ways to collect sponsorship like Justgiving.com. Last year we had 57 runners in the brainstrust crew who raised over £20,000! The MarathonThe Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for the eight Royal Parks, launched a brand new half marathon last year on 12 October 2008, starting and ending in Hyde Park. brainstrusters turned up in force last year and we had 57 runners who raised over £20,000! So this year we are raising the bar! We have 70 places available for keen runners who are up for the challenge! The RPHM 2009 is taking place on Sunday 11 October 2009. The RouteThe Royal Parks Half Marathon celebrates the amazing wildlife, history and heritage of the Royal Parks and sustainability will be a central theme of the event. It is stunning route through four Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.
