An unparalleled opportunity awaits youOn Saturday 9th May 2009, the King’s Somborne Village Hall and brainstrust registered charities will be holding the inaugural Test Valley Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot at Compton Manor Estate, King’s Somborne, Hampshire. This promises to be a thrilling day, delivering a first class clay shoot in a superb countryside setting. The landscape at Compton Manor offers magnificent terrain for shooting, situated within a valley surrounded by chalk downs, open fields, mature hedgerows and far reaching views; the perfect environment for an excellent variation of clay targets and escape from the city.
Supporting two charities
King's Somborne Village Hall and brainstrust are registered charities. Both charities were born in King's Somborne and they are proud to be working collaboratively on this venture. King's Somborne Village Hall is raising funds for much needed redevelopment and refurbishment of this valuable community site. brainstrust is dedicated to improving clinical care for brain tumour sufferers and provides coordinated support in their search for treatment.
The Shoot
Shooting in teams of four, this 100-bird clay shoot will also include a team flush and a pool shoot. The shoot will begin at 9am with hospitality on arrival. A superb hot and cold lunch with wine will be served at 1pm, at which time a pay bar will also be available. This will be followed by an auction and raffle in aid of the both charities.
