Cash in the Attic Auctionbrainstrust hit national coverage with its star appearance in BBC 1's Cash in the Attic on March 26. The team was ably led by John Cameron and Lorne Spencer and everyone had a really enjoyable time making the programme. The purpose of this effort was twofold. Not only did we want to raise funds for brainstrust - and we did to the tune of £1000 - but we also wanted to raise the charity's profile nationally. And did we succeed! We have had people contacting us from all over the UK either wanting support, more information or even to make donations. But mostly we have had comments about how valuable brainstrust's work is and how desperately it is needed. So thank you to everyone who took the time to watch our 45 minutes of fame - I'm sure there will be more moments like this!
