BRAVE teenage boys gritted their teeth for one of the most painful beauty treatments known to man - or usually, women - to raise money for a mum with a brain tumour. Aron Lowe and Jordan Fox, both 17, had their legs waxed at a fundraising event for Aron's mum, 35-year-old Tania Foster, of Quarles Park Road, Chadwell Heath. Miss Foster has a tumour a quarter the size of her brain, and needs to raise £55,000 for life-saving surgery by a pioneering American surgeon.

During the event at Hainault Forest Community Centre, Manford Way, Hainault, the plucky teens helped raise £2,000 towards the mum-of-four's operation.

Inspired by their efforts, family friend Alan Phillips, 36, challenged the crowd to donate £300 within 10 minutes to see him wax his chest. It took just two minutes for the money to roll in, and Mr Phillips and a member of the public were duly waxed.
