People came from far and wide to this very civilised and arty event on 10 July. I would like to think that it was the thought of supporting brainstrust that was the draw, but I rather than think that the exquisite quality of the contemporary arts & crafts may have had something to do with it!

The bubbles flowed, the nibbles savoured and the jazz duet, part of The Lemon Grove band, was superb. The total raised? A surplus of £400! Thank you everyone who attended. And a special thank you to Gillian Beswick for running the raffle. Nobody could refuse a ticket!
